What is slitter cutter
The finished corrugated cardboard should be in the size which we need, so we have machines in the corrugated cardboard production line which is for cutting and slitting the big size corrugated cardboard in to pieces. In multiply corrugated cardboard production line, there are two machines for this function. Slitter scorer is for longitudinal slitting the corrugated cardboard, the cutting off machine is for cross cutting the cardboard.
But for 2 layer corrugated cardboard, the slitter scorer and cutting off machine can not be adopted, they can not work on 2 layer corrugated paperboard. We have a special machine for slitting and cutting the 2 layer corrugated cardboard, we call it NC slitter cutter.
NC 2 layer corrugated cardboard slitter cutter
The slitter cutter has a main parts, it including slitting mechanism and cutting off mechanism. the 2 layer corrugated paperboard will be cut in the size as we required, it does not like the multiply corrugated cardboard, the corrugated cardboard will be cut and slit by two machines, for 2 layer corrugated cardboard, only this one machine can do both function. Then it will go to the delivery part, pieces of 2 layer corrugated paperboard will be delivery on the belt to the stacker. The stacker is a small down stacker. All cardboard will be piling here and will be taken to other place.
Models of 2 layer corrugated cardboard slitter cutter
We have three models of 2 layer slitter cutter.
Model NC sheet cutter, this is a n simple machine but controlled by computer. It does not have delivery part, and working speed is 80m/minute, normally we equipped a revert stacker work with it. Because low working speed, some time, the 2 layer production line no need pre heater, or conveyor bridge.
Model DW18, its design speed is 180m/minute, normally it is equipped in the 2 layer production line in 150m/minute speed. It is much popular, because its working speed can meet most factories request, but price is not high. For this speed production line, we suggest adopt conveyor bridge to store the corrugated cardboard which is from the single facer, and waiting for going to the single face corrugated cardboard slitter cutter. We also suggest equipped with the pre heater.
Model DW25, this is our highest level single face corrugated cardboard slitter cutter. Its design speed is 250m/minute, its price is much higher than other type because if you want this slitter cutter, you also need higher speed single facer, mill roll stand conveyor bridge and pre heater. Except these machines we also suggest the auto splicer. This model slitter cutter, we also have two difference type. One is with single slitting mechanism, one is with double slitting mechanisms. Both of these are in speed 250m/minute, but with double slitting mechanism, the machine will be much easy for operation and save time and cost.
